What data does Gopher for Chrome make available on loaded devices?

By default, to improve readability, Gopher for Chrome both excludes and hides certain columns of device data.  To include / exclude or make hidden / visible, you can use the handy Set visible columns tab in the sidebar (see right).  Learn more.

Scroll down for details on the meaning of each of these column groups.

Gopher Buddy Session Data (optional)

Gopher for Chrome Premium includes access to a domain-authorized web service and domain-wide, force-installed Chrome extension that offer a higher resolution of device session history and data (such as IP address) and reporting than Google's native features.

Gopher Buddy Session Data (read only)
User The email address of the most recently reported user session via the Gopher Buddy extension for this device.  Learn more.
Start The start time of the most recently reported user session (for the reported user).

All Other Data (available to both Gopher for Chrome Basic & Premium customers)

Data columns are grouped by type into the following three colors (categories).  Most of these correspond directly to values as returned directly from Google's APIs.  See Google's API resource definition to look up the meaning of any camelCase variables below.

Serial Number (REQUIRED)

serialNumber

Manufacturer assigned serial number.  May not always be unique for a given fleet.  May also change if mother board is replaced.

deviceId

Typically hidden (last column to the right).  This is rarely important for humans, but is CRITICAL to performing bulk device updates, since SN isn't unique.  Do not delete this from the sheet or paste devices into the sheet without this info.

Annotated Location The location assigned from the admin console, or upon most recent update via API.
Annotated Asset ID The Asset ID assigned to the device during enrollment, from the admin console, or upon most recent update via API.  This can be quite useful within Chrome Gopher if it is also associated with a scannable barcode on the device.

Calculated values
Number of major Chrome versions behind Each Chrome device model may have a different stable release available (as the official recovery OS).  This number lets you know how many major versions this device is behind the latest.  May be negative if your devices  are ahead of most recent recovery OS image.
Latest stable Chrome version for model Each Chrome device model may have a different stable release available.  This number is looked up against Google's official tables using the model and firmware as reported in the admin console.  May be "Unknown" if the lookup fails based on this information.
Auto Update Expiration The end date of Google's official support for Chrome version auto-updates. See this article.
Most recent user is annotated user TRUE if they match,  FALSE if not, blank if not applicable.  Useful in environments with assigned users for devices.
Most recent user The most recent user as recorded in the list of recent users available via the admin console.  Requires device settings be set to allow collection of this info.
Active dates in last 15 days A count of the number of dates of usage activity for this device as reported in the admin console within the last 15 calendar days.
Active minutes in last 15 days

A count of the number of minutes of usage activity for this device as reported in the admin console within the last 15 calendar days.

For admin console value field meanings, see this API resource definition.  Some of these fields are flattened or formatted to Sheets formats upon import.  They are all READ ONLY.
