In Group Gator, a delegated manager can add/remove members from a group in which they’ve been assigned. In contrast to a Google Group owner, they don’t need to be a member of each group they manage. With Group Gator, admins can breathe easily, as delegated managers cannot change the group name, group email address, group description, or any other critical settings listed in Google Groups, as seen in the example below.
By contrast, group owners have access to changing those settings in the Google Groups for Business owner’s interface. Group Gator allows delegation without the need to grant this level of authority.
