Why Don’t I See Local Hero on the Sheets Extensions Menu?

I've installed Local Hero, but when I open a Sheet I don't see it under Extensions > Add-ons. Why?

Even though Local Hero utilizes Google Sheet, it’s not an extension, so you won’t find it under the extension menu. Instead, it's a piece of local (client) software that you will find in your machine's application launcher.
