Force a Full Scan of Devices

Device data is crucial for accurate reporting and monitoring. To ensure that your information is up-to-date, you can manually refresh your cache and trigger a full scan of devices. This process updates various data points, making the changes visible in reports, telemetry data (both in reports and the web app), and the battery health state graph within the web app.

Steps to Force a Full Scan of Devices

Whether initiating the process from Sheets or the Web App, the result is a comprehensive update of all device-related data, enhancing the reliability of your monitoring and reporting capabilities.

From Sheets:

From the Web App:

  1. Open Gopher for Chrome Sidebar.
  2. Click on Reports from the Gopher for Chrome sidebar.
  3. Scroll down to find the Refresh Cache option.
  4. Click on Refresh Cache to initiate the full scan.
  5. Once the scan finishes, observe the last refresh date and time. This information confirms a successful scan.
  1. Access the Web App.
  2. If the Manage Device Cache page is not open, select it from the left navigation panel.
