General Settings for Little SIS for Classroom

The General Settings page allows administrators to configure key settings for your organization, including domain information, email notifications, licensing, installation status, and user support options.

How to Access General Settings

To access the General Settings page, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Administration in the main menu.
  2. Select General Settings.

The page contains several key blocks that you can configure:

Domain information

Email notifications

License expiration

Installation status

Support message for your users

Domain Information

This section contains critical information about your domain.

  1. Enter the name of your organization. 
  2. Enter the organization domain.
  3. Enter the organization's Google Workspace ID.
  4. To set yourself as the primary administrator, click Set Designated Admin and click OK at the  prompt.

    Note: You can only assign one designated admin. To notify additional users, add their email addresses in the Email notifications block of this page.

  5. The API Key is the unique key used for API access. You can Generate a new key and copy the API key to the clipboard.

  6. Click Save.

Email Notifications

In this block, you can specify which users will receive notifications if a configuration issue arises. You can also turn off email notifications.

To configure email notifications:

  1. In the Email notification Emails field, recipients' email addresses. Separate each address with a comma.
  2. Click Save.

Check the Disable email notifications checkbox to turn off notifications. 

License Information

Here you will find details about your subscription, including:

  • The type of license.
  • The subscription status

Installation status

This block indicates whether Little SIS for Classroom is installed correctly and functioning as expected.

Support Message for Your Users

This block allows you to define how the Support button functions for non-super admin users. You have two options:

  • Default: Uses the standard support message.
  • Custom: Allows you to enter a custom message users will see.
