How to view video closed captions and transcripts

Hello and welcome to this quick tour of the CDW Amplified for Education Help Center. Let's start by taking a look at how you bookmark the help center.

You can bookmark any article or page, just like any other website. We recommend at least bookmarking the homepage and you can always get to home by clicking the logo in the top left and then whether you're on Chromebook or Mac at your bookmark.

And now you can return anytime you like. Next, let's take a look at search. Search is available here on the homepage on category pages, as well as on articles.

And each one works the same, they're just in different locations, and there's sort of a smart search. So as you type article names are filtered and you can select from this quick list.

If you're not sure if you see the correct article, hit enter and you get the complete list. And then you can just select to go there.

Next we're gonna look at creating a login, and that lets you do a couple of things. Once you have a login created, you can customize your profile and you can also follow sections of the help center.

So let's go ahead and look at creating one. Now you'll see my information pops up because I already have a login, but you'll see this sign up link and that's how you can create an account.

I'm gonna cancel and log in to show you what it looks like. Once you're logged in, you'll see your name up here in photo.

If you, if you add it, you can actually click it and go to edit my profile. And that's how you can change your photo and any other information you see here.

Okay, so now that we have a login and we've customized our profile, let's take a look at how you follow a section.

Let's go back to the homepage. When you're on the homepage, you see each of these what we call category cards.

When you select one, you get to like the page for that whole category. And inside you'll see these subsections, those sections.

When you click on one, you'll see a follow button. If you follow it, now you get two choices when you click this button.

New articles or articles and comments. We don't allow comments on our hour articles, so they're gonna work the same. Once you're following a section, you'll get a notification via email, and that's the email that you used when you signed up.

For an account on the help center, you'll get an email that there's been an, an article added to the section.

So that's a great way, at least with the products that have what's new sections like this, What's new and go for for Chrome.

If you follow that and we make an announcement that there's a new release, that's a great way for you to get notified.
