How to view video closed captions and transcripts

So as you probably already know classroom log events in the investigation tool will have a log of everything that's done in a classroom and that includes the event of a user joining a course.

This is important when it comes to our visitors because they will be logged as a user joining a course as well.

So when we complete that search you'll see here I've got a number of user join users to having joined. There's no simple way to see you know, how they joined.

It's hidden in the description. So you can see here I've got the role visitor on this one where I stay on here you can see that the role is student.

So there is a distinction between those two events but it's hidden in the description. Now that said, if I want to see everything that's happened in one particular course once I see that there's a visitor that's gone in, I can pivot to all of the classroom log events for that particular course ID.

And then I'll be able to scroll through and see you know what was done by each individual based on the description.

You can also see here we've got the actor. So all of these are my test account going in as a visitor in two a class.

So I could add that as well to drill down further in my search to say what this actor did in this course.
