We have addressed a known issue with Gopher Buddy Check-In and Refresh.
Scenario:
Some users experienced the refresh or check-in not completing. This occurred during Check-in when the following message was displayed:
Gopher Buddy is installed correctly on your Chromebook, but your school's settings may need some help. Clicking Refresh on this message continually refreshed without completing.
The following updates address this issue:
- Clicking the refresh button in the bottom right-hand corner will function properly without indefinitely spinning.
- If the check-in fails, users will see this message:
Gopher Buddy is still trying to check in. Go ahead and close this window and check back in a few minutes.
- We have addressed an issue where changing the GB designated admin resulted in a 403 error. This fix ensures smoother transitions when updating administrative settings.
