Gopher for Users Licensing Updates: Archived Users, May 22, 2025

We are excited to announce the latest updates to Gopher for Users! These updates are in response to the 2025 Google Workspace for Education licensing modifications. To ensure a smooth transition to the new licensing structure, we have implemented the following changes:

Changes in this Release

• Load Devices from Filter: We have introduced new user types to the load devices from filter.
• Sheet Enhancements: An additional column has been added to the Sheet.
• Bulk Actions: This new user type is included in bulk actions.

Load Users from Changes

In the sidebar Load Users from field, we have added All and Archived to the User Type drop-down list. This allows you to load all users or those with an archived status.

Sheet Changes

• New Column: Archived is now a column in the properties section of the loaded Sheet.
• Value Modification: You can change the value in the new columns to true or false using the drop-down to archive/unarchive or suspend/unsuspend accounts. Then, use bulk actions to initiate the update.
  

Bulk Actions

• Archived now appears as a property when updating properties and attributes in Bulk User Actions.

  Caution: Unarchiving a user, changing the archive column from TRUE to FALSE, will reapply a Fundamentals license if one is available. If a Fundamentals license is not available, the unarchive will fail.
