Schools will encounter errors when making changes during the first few days after adding the new Model of licenses. The length of time for experiencing this error does correlate with the number of users, so it is most likely related to the processing time as licenses are being added to the customer's admin console
Error 1: When trying to turn off auto-assign for Fundamental or Gmail-Only licenses, you will get a confusing error: Failure to Update Licensing for Google Workspace because there aren’t enough licenses to auto-assign.
Error 2: A similar error is showing up when customers are attempting to move suspended users to archived in bulk within the same period of time.
Solutions for Error 1 & 2 = Wait a couple of days until licenses have fully populated in their Admin console.
