Conditional Merge is a useful tool when merging events to multiple calendars. When in use, events are created based on the conditions you specify.
This option is available on the Advanced options of the stepper. When checked, users must choose the merge condition column, choose the comparison type, is, is not, contains, does not contain, and then write the text to compare against. If you want to compare against a blank value, enter NULL.
- If the user receives an error, saying there are no events to create it’s because there have not been any form responses yet.
- Test your settings by opening a preview of the form and creating a submission. You should see the event information automatically appear a few moments after you’ve submitted the form.
