using the change primary teacher step-er You'll access the step-er differently if working with a single class versus changing the primary teacher from any classes in bulk For a single class, right-click on the class in the Explorer Grid, then select Teacher Actions, then Change Primary Teacher.

For both classes, use the filters to locate then select the classes. For instance, filter by primary teacher if you want to change the primary teacher for all of the specific teacher's classes.

Then at the top of the Explorer Grid, select Teachers, and then Change Primary Teacher for selected classes. First you'll confirm classes you want to change the primary teacher for.

Select the classes from the list. Once you've selected classes, click continue to move forward. Next you'll select the teacher who will become the new primary teacher.

Begin typing the name of the teacher in the provided field to filter the list of names. Click on the person's name to select them as a primary teacher.

Click continue. You have the option to notify the original primary teacher that a new primary teacher has been assigned to their class or classes.

If desired, you can customize the notification message. Then click continue. Finally, review your changes and click proceed.
