Inspiration for Event-o-Matic

Adding individual events to Google Calendar is straightforward, but adding them in bulk can be time-consuming. Additionally, users cannot allow others to create events on a calendar without first granting edit access, and there is no simple, one-step way to sync Google Form submissions with Calendar events.

The Event-o-Matic Solution

Event-o-Matic is a Google Sheets Add-on that lets any user on a domain merge spreadsheet data into calendar events. Users can create events in bulk or automatically generate them in a Google Calendar from Google Form submissions. Event-o-Matic is especially useful for events that begin and end simultaneously on specific days. Event-o-Matic also lets users create calendar events even without access to a particular calendar.
