Before July 2017, Local Hero was distributed as a local Chrome App. Because on Aug 19th, 2016 Google announced that they are discontinuing support for local Chrome Apps in early 2018, Amplified Labs can no longer support Local Hero for Chrome OS devices.
This means that if you installed the original Chrome App, you must migrate to the new Mac or Windows version (see below) and manually re-build your jobs. Apologies in advance for this (sadly) unavoidable inconvenience.
As of July 2017, the Amplified Labs team has ported Local Hero to an Electron.js application that is compatible with Mac and Windows.
Note: If you installed the original Local Hero Chrome App, you must migrate to the new Mac or Windows version, using the links below, and manually re-build your sync jobs. Apologies in advance for this unavoidable inconvenience.
You can access the latest versions of the Mac and Windows installer files here.
During install, Local Hero will require a one-time authorization token that must be connected to the same Google user account for which you plan to sync local data via Sheets.
