Retiring hardware shouldn't be a headache, whether you're donating all Chromebooks or replacing a fleet. Our deprovisioning workflow is here to guide the way. First, select your devices. If you are selecting multiple devices or selecting across pages, click the show selected only toggle in the footer.

Next, head to the actions menu and select deprovision. In the stepper, you'll see a clear warning that deprovisioning is permanent and will remove the license. If you're not ready for that, you can always choose to cancel to exit the wizard.

Once you acknowledge the white requirements, indicate why the device is leaving. This keeps your policy records clean. Select a reason and click Next.

Finally, you'll review your summary and click Execute. Once the Deprevision process is finished, you can track everything in the audit logs.
