Hardware
The Arduino Pro Micro is a small microcontroller that can emulate a keyboard.
Purchasing the device:
- CDW does not sell the Arduino Pro Micro, however, we can confidently recommend this one, available on the CDW site.
- You also need a USB male to Micro-USB male cable.
Software
To utilize the hardware, you'll need a free Arduino Create account.
- Visit http://create.arduino.cc to make an account and install the local drivers on a Mac or PC.
- Follow the instructions to download and install the drivers.
Ensure you have completed the driver installation process before proceeding.
Note: The pins (legs of the Centipede) on the Arduino Pro Micro are not required to use the device but can be helpful for other projects.
Centipede requires both hardware and software to run successfully.
