Setting the Designated Admin for Your Domain

While the Designated Admin is typically configured during initial onboarding, you can update this account at any time from your account settings. This account is critical as it handles the background authentication and processes for Little SIS Premium.

How to Access Designated Admin Settings

To update or verify your Designated Admin outside of the initial setup stepper:

  • Navigate to Administration > General settings.

Configuring the Designated Admin

  1. Locate the Designated Admin field.
  2. Enter the email address of the account you want to use.

    Note: This can be the same account used in Little SIS for Classroom, or a completely different one.

  3. Click Save.
  4. Click Next to proceed to the next settings tab.

Caution: The email address you enter must meet the following criteria to prevent syncing failures: Super Admin Status: The account must have Super Admin privileges on your Google Workspace domain. OU/Group Settings: The account must reside in an Organizational Unit (OU) or a Google Group that has the Google Classroom Service enabled.
