Class exceptions are a type of exclusion that is not rule-based. They apply to individual classes during the manual review of a sync analysis. Class exceptions created during a sync analysis review are added to a global list for all jobs. From the global list, they can be later reviewed, removed, or have notes added to them as a reminder of their purpose. Once applied, class exceptions are then saved and applied on all future syncs.
In general, for performance reasons, you should use class exceptions sparingly. They are a time-saver for resolving difficult-to-determine cases while manually matching classes. It is better to revise your inclusion and exclusion rules than to add more class exceptions. Keep this in mind if you are applying lots of class exceptions to a sync job.
