Users with theĀ 'Access to Manage Little SIS' timeframe, school, and general tagsĀ permission can export data from Schools directly to a Google Sheets or CSV file.Ā
Exporting Schools
- In the menu on the left side of the screen, navigate to Administration > Schools.
- Click Export at the top right.Ā
- In the pop-up, change the default file name [Little SIS Schools Export - (date)].
- Google Sheets is the default File type; select CSV if necessary.
- Enter an email to share the export with another person. Separate emails using a comma.
- Click Confirm. A message at the bottom of the page lets you know that you'll receive an email when your export is ready.
- Click Close to close the message.

Click the file link in Gmail to open the file.Ā

The Sheet contains the following information:
- Name
- Code
- Teachers
- Students
- Academic Year/Student Count
Where to Find the Export File
You can access the export file in the following locations:Ā

LSIS Classroom Jobs Sidebar: The exports section within the Jobs sidebar shows both historic and active sheet exports.
- Gmail: Each time you create an export, an email with the link to the Sheet is sent to your Gmail account.
- Audit Log: Go to Administration > Audit Log > [Hover over the Details column for an action/row] > View MoreĀ
- Google Sheets: Go to https://docs.google.com/sheets
