Working With User Accounts

Users will use their domain-assigned Google accounts to log into Little SIS for Classroom. As an admin, you can use the User accounts page to do the following:

Creating a User Account

When creating a user, you assign them a Role and the Schools they can access.

  1. Navigate to Administration > Users > Accounts. 
  2. Click Add users. The Add Users stepper opens.
  3. Type in the user's email account or name for the user you want to create.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Select the Role you want that person to have from the drop-down.
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Select the classroom access. Users can either have access to All classes or you can limit their access to Select schools you want them to see classes for.
  8. Click Continue.
  9. Preview/edit the Welcome email. Uncheck the, Would you like to send an introductory welcome email to the new users, checkbox if you do not want to send the welcome email. You can always send a welcome email at a later time.
  10. Click Continue.
  11. Review and click Confirm and add users.

Editing a User Account

To edit an existing user:

  1. Navigate to Administration > Users > Accounts. 
  2. Right-click on the user and select Edit user. 
  3. Make the necessary changes.
  4. Click Save.

Send Welcome Emails to One or More Users

You can send welcome emails to users when you create their accounts. Later, if needed, you can send or resend a welcome email to users.

  1. Navigate to Administration > Users > Accounts. 
  2. Check the checkbox at the left for each email recipient.
  3. Click Send welcome email located above the grid. The Add Users stepper opens.

  4. Confirm users you want to send an email to by selecting the user checkbox again.
  5. Click Continue.
  6. You can customize the message.
  7. Click Continue.
  8. Confirm you want to send the email by clicking Continue.

Deleting a User Account

To delete an existing user:

  1. Navigate to Administration > Users > Accounts
  2. Right-click on the user and select Delete user.
  3. At the prompt, click Delete user.
